| Hey all, so I'm back and what a growing experience I've had since the last time I talked to y'all. Let's see... I got together with Anthony, quit Wal-Mart, began working at Mitten's in Oakley, partied with my girls, fought with Anthony, quit Mitten's, began working at Arby's , moved (again), found some much unexpected (but very much needed friends in the weirdest places), fought with Karen, went to Arkansas for Christmas, but most importantly finally made one humongous leap to discovering who the real me is. I guess the moral of the story is... that no matter how poor you are, how long you go without eating, how many creditors are chasing you for the $15 you owe some demented soul, you can always look inside yourself and find something great and strong. Peace y'all! Lindsey | | |
| Well, last night was the Leoti fair and it was fun, but awkward at times. Seeing your ex checking out females with your little brother is not exactly an every day occurance in my life. So, Joni and I tipped over a car last night at the Sharon fair with a bunch of drunk people. It took 9 of us 3 times to get it to finally tip over, but it eventually did and it was fun! I attempted to have Victor change my oil, but the wrench he brought was too big for my little Tribute. So, today I got home at 4 o'clock in the morning and had to be to work by 7, but had such a bad migraine that I started hallucinating so I called in sick. I hate doing that! This is the first time, but it still killed me having to do it. Oh well, tomorrow I work at 7 again, so even if I don't feel good, I'm gonna go and have a good day because after all, it's Sunday! That means church... yay! And I actually get to go! Ooh, and two of my friends are getting married and one is having a baby! Man, it seems as if marriage is in the air lately... or maybe I'm just at that age where all the friends my age are old enough to get married so they do?!

| Look at her face... you can see the difference. The innocence is gone in this one. You can see rebellion in someone's face... and you see it here. ~ April's aunt
The innocence of a girl is something that only a trusted person can take... and when it's gone, it's gone... only hopefully to be replaced by grace...if you're lucky. Usually it's rebellion and scarring instead. ~ unknown
ok guys... I need opinions here:
The Show
My friends
I stare into your faces
Soon we'll say goodbye
To college we'll go
Waiting, we sigh
Going on with the show
Black and Orange we wear
To remember
Our alma mader dear
Hats in place
The music plays
And down the aisle we go
Yes, on with the show!
So, I feel special... you wanna know why? Well here, I'll tell ya... it's because I got an air conditioner in my room. We don't have central air in our house, so we use those room conditioners... and this year I have one in my room. Oh yeah and I got my job at Taco John's offered back to me. Only this time I'd start out at $7.50/hr. But then there's this other thing that if for a whole pay period (2 weeks) we don't show up late or call in sick we get a dollar bonus for every hour. So really I would be making $8.50/hr. John wants me to come back, but I don't know if I can deal with Kristi again. Jeremy and Kyle are gone, but Kristi's still there and we don't get along so well. But I could really use the money to pay for my new car... oh stink!!!
Guess what time it is!!!
ICON TIME!!!
